Fabric Planning now includes a major set of updates for enterprise rollouts. In this webinar you will see what's new and what it means for your planning teams:
- Start faster. Self-service onboarding goes from semantic model to plan in a single click, with no service principals, tenant settings or shared cloud connections to set up. Home Layout gives each role its own landing page.
- Plan at scale. The new Native Planning Engine (Preview) handles tens of millions of cells. Multi-driver, multi-measure simulations allow you to validate changes to price, volume, cost and headcount together before you commit to a forecast.
- Put plans to work. Write plan data back into your source semantic model. Event Triggers and stored procedures run pipelines, notebooks and refreshes when a plan is submitted.
- Reach the business. Add planning to Power BI organizational apps, share Plan items directly, and invite external partners through Microsoft Entra B2B.
- Govern growth. Get row-level security for writeback, tenant-level session upgrade controls and capacity consumption monitoring, and explore what's next for Private Link and OneLake writeback.
- From known limitations to known wins. Bulk input now goes up to 10M rows, Power BI Pro and PPU are supported, and Admin/Build permission on the semantic model is no longer required.
- FabCon Europe announcements. A summary of what Microsoft announced in Barcelona and when to expect it.
Bring your questions. We will keep time at the end to answer them.
